Tallulah Gorge in N. Georgia with 600 Ft. depth. The Gorge was walked by Wallenda on a tight Wire some years back.

Near Bryson City at Deep Creek.


Camp Site near Bryson City at Deep Creek. The folks behind us are from Greenwich, U.K.,
traveling across the U.S. on their rented RV. We enjoyed chatting with them.


Darnel Farm is on the Tuckasegee River. Irrigation is not a problem.


White boxes are filled with Pumkins and loaded on a 18 wheeler. It was fun being there.


Also grown are hubbard, yellow and zuchinni squash and the best beef-steak tomatos you ever tasted.


National Park Farm Display - a staple of Appalachia, the folks used all of the hog except the Squeal!


... "she'll be comin' around the Mountain when she comes,
..... she'll be riding 6 white horses when she comes, ....
.. oh, we'll kill the 'Ole Red Rooster when she comes" ...

There is a young bear up a tree hiding behind leaves. The crowd was more interesting.


Unusual to see a bear in the grass - probably looking for a blackberry bush.
