Large Sequoia (Redwood Tree) named General Grant.





Named the Fallen Monarch.

It provided temporary shelter for Settlers.





... Sequoia N.P. ... is nearby and approached on CA198.

This view and the next two are from "Moro Rock" and worth the hike up to see it.

... God sure knew what he was doing! ...

Apparently, a mountain climber left the yellow rope on the ledge - hope he made it okay. The drop is very deep.

Jumped out of car and snapped the photo as everyone else was doing!


We now head towards Las Vegas, via Vasalia and Bakersfield CA., to complete the Loop.
